I. About the National Golf Network
NGN, owned and operated by
Golf Intelligence, Inc., was launched in 2003 to meet the needs of golfers,
courses, clubs, and golf associations by providing a state-of-the-art,
web-based, real time system that allows them to very efficiently,
effectively and profitably operate golf membership/ handicap clubs.
NGN is the result of a strategic development partnership between Golf
Intelligence, Microsoft, Gateway, and BORN Information Services. More than
3 years, $2 million, and surveys of thousands of golfers, PGA Professionals
and course owners has gone into providing a truly breakthrough solution for
growing the game of golf.
Since its launch in April of 2003, NGN.com has already been visited more
than 120,000 golfers in 15 different states with a nationwide rollout
campaign scheduled for January 2004.

Management Team
The Golf Intelligence Management Team is
comprised of passionate golfers who are driven by a love for the game and a
commitment to increasing the profitability of businesses in the golf
industry. Every executive, employee, advisor and director of our company is
dedicated to our mission to increase participation and enjoyment of the game
for golfers regardless of location, age, gender, race, skill level and type
of club affiliation.
John
Montague – President and CEO
John was formerly the Director of Marketing and Alliance Sales Manager at
Zamba Solutions, a leading national provider of technology solutions. Prior
to Zamba, he was the Director of Sports and Entertainment Marketing at Colle
& McVoy, where he worked with a variety of prominent golf companies and
organizations.
Keith
Martin – Vice President of Operations
Formerly, Keith was the Vice President of Operations for BORN Information
Services, a leading national provider of IT services and partner to Golf
Intelligence with more than 1,000 employees and 6 locations in the United
States overseeing more than $1 billion of annual revenue. Prior to BORN, he
held account management positions in the Professional Services group at
Lawson Software.
Erik Dyste
– Vice President of Technology
Erik was formerly the co-founder and President of Omnera, a leading
developer of Web-based software and systems. Prior to Omnera, he held
account management and business development positions at Digital Marketing,
a provider of technology-enabled marketing services.
Kevin Unterreiner – Vice President of Club Development
The
founder and President of TwinCitiesGolf.com, Kevin’s proven track record of
bringing more golfers into the game and more business to courses includes
the development of the largest golf club without real estate in the United
States as well as a traveling tournament circuit that has hosted more than
5,000 players since 1998. Kevin brings his knowledge gained from serving as
a consultant to more than 60 golf businesses nationwide and has given
presentations to multiple local and national organizations.

Rick Born
Rick Born is the Founder and CEO of Born Information Services, a leading
provider of IT consulting and software development services to Fortune 500
companies. He is the founder of ScoreCast, a leading golf tournament
management software provider that currently serves the PGA of America and
many of the leading courses in the United States. He has been featured by
Inc. magazine, Forbes magazine, Fast Company magazine, Business Week, and
other business and technology publications.
Steve Burke
Steve Burke is the Founder and former CEO of the North American Membership
Group, the World's largest affinity lifestyle membership and direct
marketing company. As the owner of the PGA Tour Partners Club, the largest
golf affinity club in the United States, and many other affinity-based
clubs, NAMG has successfully combined club membership, publishing, and
merchandise marketing into an integrated business model. Under his
leadership, the company grew significantly and was acquired by Doughty
Hanson & Co. Ltd., Europe's largest private equity fund manager. He remains
active in the community with a variety of non-profit and business ventures.
Chris Foley
Chris Foley has been a member of the PGA of America for more than 10 years.
In addition to his role as the Head Professional at Madden’s Resort and
#1-rated The Classic, he is the Director of the Chris Foley Golf Schools. In
2002, he was honored as “PGA Professional of the Year” for his innovative
and progressive approach to golf instruction and business.
Tom Gegax
Tom Gegax is the Co-Founder and Chairman Emeritus of Tires Plus, a $750
million retailer, and the CEO of Tom Gegax Keynotes Plus, working throughout
the United States as an executive coach, consultant, and speaker. He is the
author of the critically acclaimed books Winning in the Game of Life and The
Enlightened Executive. He has been featured in the New York Times, Fast
Company magazine, PBS specials, CNBC Business Center, and CNN.
Ken Kahn
Ken Kahn has consulted a variety media companies and networks, on-line
portals, software companies, consumer brands, retailers, distributors, and
start-up businesses including America Online (AOL), Oracle, Microsoft/MSN,
Sidewalk.com, eShop, The Tribune Company and others. Prior to founding his
consulting practice, he directed the early e-business and networked commerce
initiatives at Target.
David
Kloeber
David Kloeber is the CEO and President of DNK Management. He is also the
owner StoneRidge Golf Club and GreyStone Golf Club. He has been praised for
his vision, industry leadership and innovative approach to golf course
management including successful member-based loyalty clubs, Internet
marketing, and other innovative marketing programs.
Mike
Koenigs
Mike Koenigs is regarded as one of the nation’s leading Internet marketing
experts. He is a Founder and Partner of Elluminati, an e-business consulting
firm. Prior to Elluminati, he was the Co-Founder and President of Digital
Cafe, a pioneer Web and multimedia software development company where he
developed Web-based solutions for 20th Century Fox, 3M, Andersen Windows,
Apple Computer, Carlson Companies, CSC, Dayton Hudson, Deluxe Corporation,
Medtronic, General Mills, NSP, The Sci-Fi Network, Sony Pictures and US
West.
David
Luther
David Luther is President of Motors Management/Luther Automotive, the
largest network of automobile dealerships and service centers in the Upper
Midwest. He is also an owner of the Olympic Hills Country Club and the Tonto
Verde-Rio Verde golf properties. He is a member of the Executive Board of
Directors of the Better Business Bureau and a former member of the
International Dairy Queen Board of Directors.
Todd Rooke
Todd Rooke is the Director of Enterprise Software Platforms of the Hewlett
Packard (HP) Consulting and Integration business unit that drives the
software strategy for 16,000 worldwide consultants at HP. He also serves on
the Board of Directors for HP's Global Software Business Unit. He is the
former Director of Microsoft .NET Technologies for Compaq Global Services
and Chief Technology Officer of Rainier Technology.
Mike Vail
Mike Vail has consulted a variety of customer-focused companies and
organizations on direct marketing and loyalty programs. He is the former
Vice President of Business and Product Development at North American
Membership Group (NAMG), the largest affinity club company in the world,
where he helped build the PGA TOUR Partners Club, attracting more than
500,000 members nationwide.
Craig
Waryan
Craig Waryan has been a member of the PGA of America for more than 25 years.
He is a distinguished PGA Master Professional that has been named as “PGA
Professional of the Year” twice. In addition, he was awarded with the Ron
Self Award for his outstanding contributions to public golf and honored as
the “Midwest Golf Businessman of the Year.” He has been featured in local
and national golf programming by Golf Digest, Golf Magazine, Golf
Illustrated, ABC, CBS and others. He has been an FCA clinician for 15 years,
conducting clinics throughout the country.
Mike Zinni
Mike Zinni has been a member of the PGA of America for more than 25 years.
He has been the Head Professional at the Mankato Country Club in Mankato,
Minnesota since 1987; and he was previously the Owner and Head Professional
at the La Vista Country Club in Wichita Falls, Texas. In addition, he has
played on the PGA Senior Tour since 1999. He is also a former member of the
PGA of America Board of Directors. |
